Six ways to add hempress to your diet

Adding our blends to your diet is super easy. Try mixing a teaspoon or two of our turmeric golden latte powder into your cereal (our favourite is porridge!) Alternatively, our matcha berrybeats or hemp beauty berries powder adds a delicate fruity taste and stunning colour to your yogurt.

Adding our powdered blends into protein shakes and smoothies gives a great taste and adds extra health benefits too!

Try swapping high caffeine drinks such as coffee for a healthier matcha blend. Matcha gives a slow energy release and prevents the body from crashing later in the day. It’s also super high in antioxidants.

 

Beauty porridge.  Add 50g porridge oats, 350ml milk into a pan and simmer for 4-5 minutes or until the oats have absorbed most of the milk. Once cooked mix in 2 teaspoons of matcha berrybeats. We topped our porridge with slightly melted peanut butter, homemade jam, almonds and goji berries.

Add 50g porridge oats and 350ml milk into a pan simmer for around 4-5 minutes or until the oats have absorbed most of the milk. Once cooked mix in 2 teaspoons of turmeric golden latte powder.

We top our porridge with fresh fruits, flaked almonds, goji berries and drizzle with honey.

 

Beauty berry smoothie

Add 50g blueberries, 60g raspberries, 60g strawberries, 1 banana, 1 tablespoon of goji berries, 100ml milk, 2 tablespoons of yogurt, 1 teaspoon of honey and 2 teaspoons of hemp beauty berry powder into a blender and blend until smooth. If the consistency is a little too thick, add a small amount of water until you have the desired consistency.

 

Match green smoothie

Add 150g spinach, 150g strawberries, the flesh of 1 small avocado, 140ml yogurt, the juice of two oranges and 1 teaspoon of matcha into a blender and blend until smooth. If the consistency is a little too thick, add a small amount of water until you have the desired consistency.

 

Turmeric health boost

Add 50g of porridge oats, 3 tablespoons of yogurt, 2 bananas, 100ml milk, 2 teaspoons hemp turmeric into a blender and blend until smooth. If the consistency is a little too thick, add a small amount of water until you have the desired consistency.

 

Iced matcha latte

Fill a small glass with ice. Shake together 180ml of milk and 2 teaspoons of honey in a bottle and pour over the ice. Rinse your bottle and shake together 80 ml water and 1 teaspoon of matcha then very slowly pour over the milk mixture to create a distinct layer.

 

Iced Hemp Tea

Fill a pan with around one litre of water and heat until the water begins to boil. Add 6 table spoons of your preferred hemp tea blend (our favourite is our happiness blend) to the pan and leave for 2 minutes. Strain the tea into a large jug and stir in 3 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice and 150g of honey. Leave to cool slightly before placing in to fridge to cool completely, this should be a around three hours. To serve pour the tea into a ice filled glass and enjoy.
